Director Scott F. Mason will be casting both the classic (male) edition of “The Odd Couple” and the female version written in the 80s. Needed are 8 men and 8 women at maximum but it is possible that a person could end up in both versions if willing to commit to the rehearsal time and the production schedule. Each version will run in rotation in June 2020. The male version will be set in the 60s and the female version in the 80s. Men and women need to be willing to have facial hair and hair match the period or be fine with wigs.
Age range of male and female characters: 20s to late 60s is acceptable but willing to look at older as well.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts. No preparation is necessary. Forms available on the CSP website to fill out in advance. No need to bring resume or headshot.
If you plan to attend, please arrive no later than 8pm on either night. Depending on the number of attendees the auditions may go beyond 9pm but no walk-ins will be accepted after 8pm unless prearranged with the director.
