SUMMARY:Audition :: Trouble In Mind
DESCRIPTION:Chapel Street Players is pleased to announce auditions for Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress. Director\, Dominic Santos\, and Stage Manager\, Amy Culver\, look for nine talented actors to join them in telling this empowering story. Trouble in Mind takes place in 1955 during the rehearsal process of a new Broadway anti-lynching play. The play explores themes of control\, racism\, sexism\, assimilation\, and collaboration.\nPerformance dates: December 4\, 5\, 10\, 11\, & 12 at 8PM. December 6 & 12 at 2PM. \nSign-in will begin at 6:30PM with auditions starting promptly at 7PM. Auditions will consist of readings from the script which can be found in the link below. Auditions will be open\, and the readings will be done in groups.
