Pygmalion
February 22 @ 2:00 pm

Shaw’s classic – and the inspiration for “My Fair Lady” – is given a new spin! This funny, intelligent tale of a Master of Dialects’ mission to remake an impoverished cockney girl and “take her anywhere and pass her off as anything!” is moved to 1968. Henry and Liza navigate the social upheaval in “Swinging London” after World War 2, where a newly affluent working class is breaking down barriers just blocks from Liza’s tiny flat and youth culture is turning society on its head
