Written in 1955, Trouble in Mind follows the rehearsal process of an anti-lynching play preparing for it’s Broadway debut. When Wiletta Mayer, a Black actress and stage veteran, challenges the play’s stereotypical portrayal of the Black characters, unsettling biases are unearthed. Empowering, satirical, and ahead of its time, Trouble in Mind is set to make CSP history with this not to be missed production.
