Volunteering with us offers an opportunity to get hands-on experience in various roles, build connections, and contribute to the magic of live performances.

Volunteering at Chapel Street Players is more than just giving your time – it’s about becoming part of something special. Here’s why you should consider volunteering with us:

We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities to suit different interests, skills, and availability. Here are some of the roles available:

1. Box Office
   Sell tickets
   Manage will-call
2. Ushering 
   Greet and assist theater-goers and assist with event check-ins
   Help patrons find their seats
   Distribute programs and materials
   Assist with any questions or needs during the performance
3. concessions
   Help patrons with refreshment and snack before and during intermission
4. Stage Crew
   Assist with set construction, props, and scene changes
   Help backstage during rehearsals and performances
   Manage lighting, sound, and stage effects
5. Costume and Makeup Assistance
   Assist costume designers with fittings, alterations, and organization
   Help with makeup application during performances
   Ensure actors are prepared before going on stage

We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds! While some roles may require specific experience, there are plenty of opportunities for newcomers to the theater world. Here are a few general requirements:

1. A passion for the arts and enthusiasm for supporting live theater
2. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
3. Ability to work as part of a team
4. Positive attitude and strong communication skills
5. Some roles may require attending training or orientation sessions
