The Foxy Mrs. Bumpstead-Leigh

CSP is a volunteer-based community theatre that is open to non-traditional casting which is color conscious, disability-inclusive, and accepts actors identifying as any gender.

Director Susie Moak is looking for 6 women and 5 men ages 18-80 for this comedy show. Auditoners will be asked to do cold readings from the script and no monologue preparation is required. PLEASE NOTE: 3 of the female characters (one younger, one middle-aged, and one older) need to be able to do BOTH a formal British accent (not cockney or overkill- just proper diction, high-brow) and an American Southern accent (think “Mama’s Family”) back and forth throughout the show. Also note that as a new play, the cast may need to be flexible in receiving changes to the script early in the rehearsal process.
