Audition :: Who-Dame-Dunnit?

Audition :: Who-Dame-Dunnit?

Mar 7 & 8 (Mon & Tue) @ 7pm

Looking for 4-5 men and 5-6 women (open numbers due to possible one actor playing multiple roles) for original murder spoof comedy featuring Dame Edna impersonator Scott Mason. The Dame breaks the fourth wall often so all actors need to be comfortable with improvisation and going off script. Also, as it is an original work, actors should be able to handle script changes throughout the rehearsal process. Most parts are stereotypical murder mystery parts- the shady lawyer, the French maid, etc- actors should be experienced with accents, facial expressions, comedic timing, etc. There are roles with lots of lines and some with less. No specifics as to certain ages, race, ethnicity, body/hair/facial hair/eye types, so all who meet above criteria and fall in age range should audition if interested. Auditions will consist of cold readings from script .Rehearsals will begin in late March and be two nights a week and one time during weekend. Rehearsals will not require all actors until closer to June. June will be more rehearsals including tech week so if traveling/vacation in June this might not be the show to try out for!

Age range men: 21-70
Age range women: 21-50 (older female roles have been cast already)

Partial pre-audition script will be available end of February.
