Actors of all ages, races, genders, and sexual identities are being sought. The writer of these plays, Deirdre Girard, has provided broad flexibility for casting choices to enable Chapel Street Players to inaugurate their first season in their new building with a community representative production that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

When considering availability, this is a one-weekend project with five (5) performances. November 7-11, 2024 will be the ONLY weekend of this production. Also, consider that this production is small individual scenes and, hopefully, rehearsals can be planned with more flexibility than is usually possible. However, commitment of your time to this project will be required.

Below are synopses of each of the nine 10-minute scenes which comprise WOMEN AT THE CENTER. Cold readings will be used for auditions. Be creative about how and for which roles you want to audition. If interested, Heuer Publishing website has a script extract which is downloadable (but NOT printable) of four of the scenes.
