It’s only days before the local community theater opens its new murder mystery. But the novice, alliteration-loving playwright insists on regularly revising the script and its plot. And the struggling troupe of actors, both the experienced who defiantly denounce direction and the inexperienced for whom finding their part proves particularly perplexing, are driving the production team to a breaking point. Anything that can go wrong does, portending a premiere that is destined for disaster.
